And You Really Love That Job?

Got Fired For Selling Pampered Chef!

YES! That’s why people just love jobs!

I rarely get to see a US Sunday paper anymore, but I did take the hour out to read it today and was shocked (maybe not) by what I read.

In 2012, A Wal-Mart employee was fired for selling Pampered Chef on the side. Now, I remember way back in the dark ages when I had a job, my employer wasn’t to happy about my “on the side” exploits, but nobody ever thought of firing me.

Granted, if you’re bugging everyone in your company to join up, they may get a bit upset. But, in this case, it looks like it was just the fact that she was doing this on the side! Wow!How dare you try to improve your financial position.

According to Wal-Mart’s salary website, a manager’s salary ranges from $44,772 to $82,975. Depending on the size of your family, this may not be enough.

Yes, and people still to this day, will defend a job to the death, even though they can control what you do after hours. Which leads me to ask the question, “Are we really free in America?” If big companies like Wal-Mart are doing these things, what’s to stop small employers from doing the same?

Just Sayin!

Cheers

Steve
